The hard work is–for the most part–over

I sent in my NC State application today! Woot. So now all I need to do is wait for a reply, worry that I made a mistake somewhere on there, and keep reminding my mom to get my transcript together! Yay!

I don’t have much else to say at the moment, so I’ll give you another poster! The Rocky Horror Picture Show soundtrack just started playing, so:

Alright, I’m off to my tang soo do class now. See ya!

Surprises

I sayed over at my sister’s last night, as usual, and celebrated Oktoberfest by eating German sausage with sauerkraut and a yummy mustard and speaking the 3-ish German (Excuse me, Deutsch) words we all know as much as possible. Well, it turns out they had a little surprise for me: World of Warcraft. Apparently my life would be oh-so much more fulfilling if I were to spend it in an MMORPG rather than doing something, you know, productive. So I was forced to make a character (or, rather, another one. I’d already had a 10-day trial about a year ago) and play for two hours. It was a night-elf hunter, and I got her to level 5. It is a fun game, I’ll admit that, but I have tons of stuff to do right now that is far more important (ex: freaking college). I don’t want to play. Nevertheless, they keep trying to make me play for some reason. Just can’t leave well-enough alone. Jebus!

Alright, so that’s what happened last night. Let’s just say that it hasn’t been resolved yet. However, after I’d wasted some of my life, we watched the South Park movie on Comedy Central. OMG, I love it. Hilarious, seriously.

Next campaign poster, then!

Tschuß!

Change of plans that you didn’t know existed

So I was going to make some long, interesting post about something today, but then I realized that I ain’t gonna have time today to think out a long, interesting post, seeing as my mom and I are going to go over the questions on which she disagreed with me on my practice SAT thingy. Since I’m taking the actual SAT on saturday, that takes top priority. I usually do pretty well on standardized tests, so I’m not too terribly worried about it. I probably would be if I hadn’t taken the practice one and we weren’t going over the ones that I most likely missed, but such is not the case. But who knows? Perhaps I’ll suck so much that the scoring people will think I’m retarded, I don’t know. I’m scheduled again for November, just in case.

On a slighly unrelated note, I wrote a pretty kick-ass admissions essay. Seeing as colleges count both the SAT and essay more than the transcript (which I really wish weren’t so, since I love my transcript) for home schoolers, I’m feeling fairly good.

Alright, so that’s all the reason why I’m not making a huge, long awesome post just now (seriously, it will probably take a long time to put together), I’ll give you another campaign poster for The One Party! YAYZ!

Some stuff

1. I think I’ll stop with the YTMND thing. Whatever. Let me know if you absolutely love them too much for me to do otherwise.

2. New campaign poster!!!

Good evening, everyone! (It’s always evening when The Blob posts)
I’ll just give y’all a new ‘un, and be on my way.

Lawd, I don’t know what I’m going to do when I get to the ones that myspace won’t let me put up. Probably ask my brother-in-law-to-be, if I’d told him about this yet (I plan on messing with his head on THR sometime, where I’m under the name Hazel, so that’s why I haven’t. Hey, he has a site thing (he doesn’t like to be called a “blog”) somewhere on the sidebar. See if you can guess which one! There’s a picture of me somewhere on there, too. He wants more readers, though, so you should start going there a lot to make him happy).

Yes, I like parentheses very much.

Allow myself to introduce… myself.

Good evening, everyone! Today will be the day on which I shall begin to tell those who read this, and not… something else… about The One Party!

Naturally, I am the messenger/spokesperson for The One Party, seeing as I created it (no matter what that jerk Sauron says. It was ME!!!). After a while, I began to think that I need a name for this. Of course, I chose the most evil name I could think of: The Blob.

Before questions are asked, it is not after the cheesy 50’s horror flick. A few years back, I named someone after it, and that person is evil. Well, the alien that absorbs everything it touches is evil too, but still. See, the reason for the name is that he wore this big yellow hoodie all the time and from far away, he was just a big, yellow blob (another nickname we gave him for this was “Spongebob.” Man, I had xanthophobia for at least two years because of that whole ordeal). Heh, he never knew about any of those many, many nicknames. Also; no, it’s not an ex-boyfriend. I remain on quite friendly terms with all my ex-’s due to my unwillingness to get into arguments with people who might actually like me. Yeah, I won’t say much more beyond that.

Alright, back to what the actual post is about. Join The One Party today, and RULE THEM ALL!!! I hereby present you with the first campaign poster:

If I could get it to upload…

Hold on…

Wait…

Ah! Yay!

Well, that was annoying. It wouldn’t let me get it directly from my documents for some reason, and I had to use the one that I’d already put on the… uhh… other place. I’m not the best with computery things, shush.

Alright, so this particular poster is not, in fact, the most creative or interesting or anything, but it is freakin’ neccesary! The One Party cannot begin without this, so just suck it up and wait for me to put up the next one. Hey, I’m evil, remember? Ain’t compassionate.
